A quick Weavee history
6 months, the time to get the site to the quality it is now. Before I began at WeWork Aldgate East I dabbled in the recruitment world and had a solid goal as to where I wanted the product to go, but it needed more.
During the 6 months I have learned a lot about what makes a great product. It isn’t even the product, it is the concept, the core values, the people who learn from you and you from them. They are what shapes you and what you do.
With Weavee I always push the concept, this can capture the imagination and allows a community to form with a collaborative vibe, everyone can contribute. Even 2 years from now there will be things to improve and create. Weavee will consume a lot of time and effort, it is a big data project which will constantly evolve, get better and help more people.
The important part of being a startup is the product is never going to be finished and I am using this as an opportunity to think big, scale my idea and capture the minds of people. I don’t try to sell a solution, no-one actively wants it, people want problems solved and to feel better. Real world solutions, not products are what grow.
I am now on the third soft launch of Weavee, people are using and loving what we do and a strong team has been put in place to take my vision to the next level. The security of the team is allowing me to focus on what the product means to me and create something that truly has value for when we are ready for prime time.
I enjoy building something unique and having a passion, I hope I can inspire you to turn your dreams into reality.
